Refunds, cancellations, and missed evenings

How to ask

Write to info@aware-helixway.click or telephone 055-283-7104. Include the name on the booking, the session, and the date. We confirm what is refundable before any transfer is sent back. Refunds are paid by bank transfer to the account you used, in Korean won, within ten business days after we confirm the amount.

Context Reading Studio

The cycle fee is ₩890,000, of which ₩200,000 is a holding amount when the seat is confirmed.

If you cancel 14 or more days before the first Tuesday, the full amount you have paid is refunded, including the holding amount.

If you cancel between 13 and 7 days before the first Tuesday, the holding amount of ₩200,000 is kept, because the printed packs for your seat are already in production, and any balance you have paid is refunded.

If you cancel fewer than 7 days before the first Tuesday, or after the first evening has begun, the cycle fee is not refunded. Work has started, and the chair cannot be offered cleanly to someone else.

A missed evening inside the cycle is not refunded and is not replaced with a private hour. You may collect that week's printed pack on the following Tuesday.

You may move to the next cycle once, if you ask at least 14 days before the first Tuesday and the next cycle has an open chair. The fee already paid stays with the later cycle. A second move is treated as a cancellation.

Chart Desk Review

If you cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before the appointment, the ₩160,000 fee is refunded in full, or kept on the new date if you prefer to move the hour. You may move the hour once on those terms.

Inside 48 hours, and in the case of a no-show, the fee is not refunded. The instructor has held the room for that ninety minutes.

If we cancel the hour, you may take a full refund or another date, at your choice.

Evening Sentiment Briefing

A guest fee of ₩35,000 is refunded if you cancel before 18:00 on the day before the briefing. After that, the fee is not refunded, including if you do not arrive. Studio students who attend inside their cycle fee have nothing separate to refund.

If we cancel the briefing, guest fees received for that date are refunded in full.

Field Notebook Workshop

If you cancel 10 or more days before the Saturday, the weekend fee is refunded except ₩40,000, which covers the bound notebook and chart packs already prepared in your name. Those materials remain yours and can be collected or posted inside Korea at your cost.

Inside 10 days, the weekend fee is not refunded. Both days are one booking. Missing Saturday or Sunday does not produce a partial refund.

You may move to a later weekend once, if you ask 10 or more days ahead and a seat remains. Materials already printed for you are used on the new date.

Deposits and materials

The studio holding amount and the workshop materials portion are the only deposits we take. Printed packs and notebooks that have been produced for you are not refundable once production has started, even when the rest of a fee is returned. Unused blank notebooks that we have not yet personalised can be restocked, and in that case the materials portion is refunded as well. We will tell you which of those applies.

If we cannot teach

If a session is cancelled by Aware Helixway, or if the room cannot open, you receive a full refund of what you paid for that session, or a later date if you would rather transfer. We do not offer a refund of travel costs.

Work already started

Once a studio evening, a desk hour, a briefing, or a workshop day has begun with you present, that session's fee is not refunded. If you leave early, the same rule applies. A disagreement with the teaching is a reason to talk to the instructor, not a reason for a refund after the hour has started.

Exceptions

If you are seriously ill and tell us before the session, we will move a desk hour or a briefing guest seat once without keeping the fee, even inside the usual window. Studio and workshop places can move to the next date on the same illness rule if a chair is open. We may ask for a note from a clinic in Changwon or your home city. This exception does not cover a change of mind about the market.
