Eight chairs, a long table, and a basket for phones.
The reading room is the whole of Aware Helixway's teaching. It sits at 14 Gongdan-ro, Seongsan-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, 51522, on a working street in Seongsan-gu rather than in a lobby built to impress anyone.
What is on the table
On a studio night the weekly charts are already laid out, one pack per seat. A copper rail runs the length of the velvet wall; it is there so a chart can be hung at eye level when the whole room needs to see the same swing. The basket for phones is by the door. Laptops may be opened after the first hour if someone needs a figure they did not print. The first hour is pencil only.
The room holds eight students at the table. Briefing nights add a bench along the wall for guests. In July the velvet keeps the heat; Minseok was not joking. There is a window onto Gongdan-ro, and it does get opened.
How a disagreement is handled
When market sentiment and technical context disagree, both versions stay. The mood sentence is read aloud. The swing marks are read aloud. The room does not vote on which one wins. A student may change a mark only by pointing at a bar, not by quoting a headline. That rule is why the studio feels slow to people who are used to a morning call.

Arriving
The address is 14 Gongdan-ro, Seongsan-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, 51522. If you are coming from Masan or the west side of Changwon, allow time for the industrial traffic on Gongdan-ro around 18:00. The door is at street level beside a smoked-glass window. Telephone 055-283-7104 if you cannot see the window; someone is in the room from 18:30 on teaching nights.
